The whole town is talking about Mary Mack. Something crash-landed in her front
yard on Friday night, you see. And out of the wreckage she pulled a little
green thing that she believes was sent to her by the Lord. She's installed
the thing in her son's nursery and is singing prayers of the thank-you-kindly-Jesus
variety, but the rest of the town is getting ready for an alien invasion Mary
Mack's scheming husband is plotting to kill his wife, and a wild assortment
of West Texas townsfolk are giving an out-of-towner tabloid news reporter
enough footage to justify an alien take-over plot. It is up to her friend
Gildy to come calling and set the record straight. But can she convince her
friend to see reason before the 'baby' gets out of the cradle and phones home?
Multi-scenic set, can be suggested with minimal set pieces. Runs 1 hour 45 minutes with intermission (approx.)
